Family favorite -Biscuits

4 c. All-purpose flour

2 Tbsp. baking powder

2 Tbsp.  sugar

2 tsp. Salt

2/3 c. Cold butter Edit

2 c. Milk
Preheat oven to 425°. Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.  Shred butter into mixture and stir to distribute evenly. Add milk gradually, stirring until dough pulls away from the bowl. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and kneed 15 times. Roll dough out to 1 inch thickness. Cut biscuits. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes.


I make these biscuits when we do biscuits and sausage gravy!
